The contemporary art exhibition at the Sale del Castellare in Urbino celebrates the 600th anniversary of the birth of Federico da Montefeltro, stimulating reflection on the always strong relationship between art and power, between artist and client in every field, from politics to finance to sport.

New exhibition event in Urbino to celebrate the six hundred years since the birth of Federico da Montefeltro. On Friday 30 September , at 12 noon, “Art and power. In dialogue with Federico da Montefeltro ” , curated by Vittorio Sgarbi.

The contemporary art exhibition starts from the figure of Duke Federico, one of the main patrons of all time, who made Urbino the cradle and center of the Renaissance.

Works by the artists Giuseppe Bergomi , Bertozzi & Casoni , Tullio Cattaneo , Giuseppe Ducrot , Marco Lodola , Igor Mitoraj , Livio Scarpella and Ivan Theimer will be exhibited.
