"We protect special places to live every day", this is what the FAI Fondo Ambiente Italiano has been doing since 1975. It is from this
given, in fact, that the FAI undertakes to protect the beauties of our country, so that everyone can experience them. And Palazzo Rotati di Fano is one of these places, a special place that must be made known to all those who want it. Not only to the guests of the building who have chosen to stay there to experience the atmosphere of yesteryear that you breathe here, but the FAI will allow the opening of its door to tourists and Fano who have not yet had the opportunity to visit it .
This palace, which takes its name from the family of the Fano aristocracy to which it belonged until 1992, is of Renaissance origin.
It stands on three floors and has a cellar, with a small internal courtyard with three arches supported by two white columns from the Roman era.
But when you open the door of the building it is the view of the great hall with a barrel vault that leaves you breathless. Upon entering, you let yourself be led by it to the original stone staircase and to the lovely rear garden, whose three-meter walls enclose a flowerbed and give an atmosphere of absolute relaxation. The same atmosphere that reigns in all the apartments of the building whose furniture, which is perfectly in tune with its era, helps to give the thrill of living inside a 17th century building.
